I'm slightly torn as to whether this should be in the combo cam section or gear section but here goes...
I have a 5d MKII on order and will be making use of the video function. I would like to get a video head for my tripod and I have been looking at the Manfrotto 501 and 701 HDV heads. Does anyone have experience with both of them? Or have another similar head to recommend?
I'm leaning towards the 701 because weight is a pretty big factor for me and I already have a RRS BH-40 that i will most likely be taking along with me anyway for still shots.
