« on: October 07, 2008, 07:16:13 pm »

How much is a CFV worth these days?  Are these backs any good now that new backs are a whole generation newer?

Hasselblad CFVII and CF39II - what are differences
« Reply #1 on: October 08, 2008, 02:15:23 am »

The CFII has a somewhat larger screen, 2.2" Oled vs. 2.5" LCD if I am not mistaken.
The CFII has the improved IR filter.

Not sure whether the II has the passive cooling, I didn't think so.

If I get my CF39IIMS I can tell you more when I have compared it to my CF39 (version I). As far as I know there are not that many differences between the I and the II.

Now for the CFV it could be different. I haven't spend much time looking at that one. Don't forget the CFV is only for the V bodies! They more or less share the same name but I consider the CF & CFV 2 totally different animals. Not sure how much a CFV is worth these days. I see the 96C go for around 3500euros, I guess the CFV should be a little more than that (4000-5000K) but after the latest price cuts who knows.
