Question for you guys:
I remember most studios I have seen to either have matte black or neutral grey walls and floors. It seems the studios shown here are mostly painted white. Is there a reason to use white these days?
When I moved into my studio it was owned by a product photographer and he had it all painted Black.. Look like an Old cave.. Pretty depressing.
I painted the whole studio white and like it. Looks cleaner, You can bounce light if need off walls and ceilings. It is hard to cut back light, but I have lot's of Black Fabric and Foam core for that.
I am guessing car and product guys would prefer Black and Fashion/Portrait White...
Most Big Cyclos (Also used by the car shooters) are white ( some green now a days also for green/blue screening) for obvious reasons...
That would be my reasoning....
