I was wondering if there are any photographers in either NYC or DC who own MFDB's and would be willing to let me come by to your studios and take a look at the camera, use the proprietary software for a little bit, etc.
I'm a young'un (24) trying to get a new business off the ground -
www.digitalphototech.com (should be live by the end of the week) offering full digital capture solutions for studio/location shoots, but I'm not really well acquainted with anything besides an H1/Phase back. I need to get better acquainted with other backs and their software before I can offer to tech them in good conscience. Particularly interested in Leaf and Hassy backs, but PhaseOne is fine too. The more homework I do the better.
In exchange for your time, I'm happy to offer my services as an assistant for a free 1/2 day or as a digital tech (with my equipment or yours) at deeply discounted rates.
References are available from other long-time members here on LL who I've assisted or tech'ed for in the past.
