I have a 3800 on an older Mac G5 running 10.4.11. It has always worked perfectly, connected by the USB cable. I have not used the printer for a few months and it was turned off. During this period I did connect a new HP laser printer via Ethernet and it works perfectly.java script:emoticon('

However, now that I am ready to print again with the 3800 and after turning it "ON", the Epson Printer Watcher comes up and says that it cannot find the driver to monitor this printer. So, I assume the driver has somehow been corrupted and I go to Epson and get the new one just released on the Sept. 18. It said it installed properly (I don't know where). However, I still cannot print as I get the same Printer Watcher message. When I click "page setup" only the laser printer shows as being available.

I have moved the USB cable to see if I had a bed connection and no change. Any ideas/help will be appriciated. Thanks.
