Thanks Thierry,

There may be a Hy6 in my future after all.

Glad to see Sinar get competitive prices on these.

It's a lot more money for the s65r. I don't really need the revolving back, but I might want to use LF shift. And, if I ever want to move up to another back for the Hy6 which I love, I don't think I can get any offers for a 65 back without the body.

Best,

Mitchell

Thierry, Thanks

These prices are close to what I expected  !!!

Could you just confirm one thing.... when you shoot tethered, are you able to see the image on DB and the Computer at the same time or just Computer? Because as I remember.... not long ago ( I couldn't find the thread to point it out..) there was a talk about shooting tethered and not being able to see the image on both DB and Computer screen at the same time!!! So , I'm not sure.... who they were talking about SINAR or LEAF?

That is a deal breaker to me  !!!

Nice!

Thierry,

Is there any upgrade deal going on?

I'd love to trade up my Sinar 54LV for the esprit 65LV and save a bit of money if possible.

Carl

Dear Natasa,

I can confirm that the image is shown in the back's display, when tethered, until the image is on the HD of the computer.

Best regards,
Thierry

Thanks Thierry,

Very exciting prices !

- Could you also provide us with new prices of other Sinar Hy6 models (Hy6-e54r, e75r) ?
- and can you specify the date of availability for the Hy6-65 (just after the photokina or rather end of October)

Regards,
François

Related to the above answer.... I would like to ask for how long can I set the display so that perhaps the image display can stay longer 8,9,10,15 seconds or like Canon/Nikon you can set it to stay until you make another exposure... in my case that's the best and something I would prefer?

thierry, can you repost the prices for the lenses and finder so i see what a whole system would cost? (i know it was posted a while back).

i was quite sold on phase, but the large screen and rotating back, and speed are very usefull features. ill definitely look into this system further.

cheers paul

hi Mitchell,

Why not? somebody with Hy6 body shooting film, for example, or wishing to upgrade from a lower resolution.
Or then there is always the possibility to sell the complete camera system.

Best regards,
Thierry

Dear François,

I shall inform about the new reduced prices for the Hy6 - eMotion systems later today, in a separate specific thread.

Availability of the Sinar Hy6 - 65 system and Sinarback eSprit: I have no specific date, but production is starting and first to be delivered shall be for our distributors' demo units. Therefore I believe that there will certainly be a bottleneck during this period.

Best regards,
Thierry

That's funny because I was sold on phase as well and decided to wait until photokina before making a commitment.

When Thierry announced the Hy6 s65r that suddenly changed everything. What's most important to me is onsite & dealer assistance in hardware, capture, post processing, digital tech services, repair turn around time and loaner policy.

King size studios in NZ, [a href=\"http://web.mac.com/adamcustins/kingsize_sales/welcome.html]http://web.mac.com/adamcustins/kingsize_sales/welcome.html[/url] have been more than helpful and supportive in this regard

hi Willem,

There is not a "large" pricedrop, but though a drop. Further, the eMotion 54 LV has been dropped consequently already a few weeks ago, and now another drop.

As said, more later.

Best regards,
Thierry

Thierry,
will people like me who just leased a Hy6 system, get a rebate from their Sinar dealers, especially if there is a large pricedrop?
Just a thought, however I fully understand what the market dictates.
Cheers,
Willem.

Hi Thierry,

Does the Auto WB of the eSprit back work with any camera, or only the Hy6? If I used an eSprit back on a Mamiya 645 for instance, can I use the auto WB, or does it only work in conjunction with the Hy6's internal WB sensor?
