The long exposure makes it appear as though the falls are in sunlight, yet it's a night sky. It doesn't quite work for me.

Very nice, and very much appreciated... I was planning to do some night panoramas back in June in yosemite also, but I failed miserably due to the lack of moon light. Yosemite is really really dark at night. I had to stick to day panoramas (and was busy shooting for the yosemite extreme panorama project anyway).
