wow - really wonderful images completey rounded! The fine color and light concept is a feast for the eyes. The fourth one is phenomenal

thanks folks. time to say some words to this forum, means to you :

i am very happy to exchange my thoughts and experience here in LL,- thanks michael for your great moderation of it. in fact i dont have any other meeting point with so many great photographers as i find them here.
its very inspiring for me to spend my time in this forum. since i started to work digital 2004 i collected a lot of the things i know ( now ) here and formerly in the RG forum.
also i have met several colleagues of mine allover the world, whom i `ve met first here.
many things are contributed by photographers in this forum and not many places exist where colleagues share in a similar good atmosphere as we can find it here.
so even the fact that i participate since two years in this award thing is a result from confrontating me here with colleagues and looking over my border edge ( i never participated in any award before in the IPA last year . i started to be more attentive to this award thing after a very unpleasent discussion here in LL some time ago ... and i am happy that i had some success in it )

Thanks Thierry for bringing it to our attention & congrats to Rainer. But there is ANOTHER photographer in our midst that has been recognized in those same awards.
In catagory Architecture; BRIDGES > 3rd place is Maurizio Marcato title called "Fog Gate". As a matter of fact he under the name "Simplify" (rather appropo) he posted the same image > flipped horizontally & a smidgen cropped more, with gray neutral point shifted on Aug 7th, 2008 in now a DEFUNCT extremly popular thread (shame on you-U know who U are) " Recent Works, Post your MFDB work". on page #68, fourth one from bottom. Still a classic shot & I am glad he got the much deserved accolades. Bravissimo.

what a body composition, great shot.

.... as i said. here in LL ( esp. in the mf departement ) are many great photographers,
in- and outside of given awards. this makes the things here so interesting and unique.

they are made from app. 5 exposures, combinied in photoshop to 32bit filess which are than translated again to 16bit.
