I own a H3D II 39 soon to be 50 and provided that sinar would kindly allow me to use my back together with the arTek body I would definitely invest. I am not an engineer but I assume that if Alpa can provide a possibility to connect a H3 back to their cameras there should be no reason why it is not feasible in this case.

Dear Dustback,

I come back to you on this and can confirm my previous post: the lenses for the p3 cannot be converted into "arTec" lenses. those need a focusing ring and to be adjusted to infinity.

Best regards,
Thierry

Thierry,

I have the multishot back (with V mount) no 75H adapter is no problem but can I use it with the existing lenses and are they interchangeable with the ones you can use on the P3 (without having to remount lensboards and shutters etc..)?

Thierry,

Thanks for getting back to me. A pity you cannot interchange lenses. I think it would be an opportunity for competitive advantage. If you could use 1 lensset for multiple purposes, you would save a bundle. Naturally if it is impossible, it simply is
