H3D and Film Back
« on: September 03, 2008, 05:14:46 pm »

I just got my H3D-39 and was wondering if by chance it can be used with film?  That is if I can get a bargain price on a H type film back.

Thanks,

An H3D can be used with a film back but not an H3DII.

Thanks for the reply.  Mine is the older H3D-39 not the II version.  Will check if I can find a good priced film back.

I got mine from KEH. I'm just waiting for the weather to warm up so that I can go shoot some star trails.

remember though that the prism on the h3d is the magnified one that does not show the full 645 frame in the view finder.
