I have Dell 2408, which seems to display colors inaccurately. I do image editing mainly for Web and other non color managed applications. I want images on my monitor look the same in Photoshop and in the end application. One review
has said Del 2408 is bad out of the box but calibrates pretty well. Is there a way to feed the color profile to the video card, so that colors are corrected not in software but at the video card output, so that everything it displays becomes color calibrated? I have NVIDIA GeForce 9500M GS, haven't so far found a way to feed a color profile into it.
People on this forum have regarded NEC 2690 highly... is the LUT feature in this momitor working just as above, being hardware-only color correction, so that everything under Windows becomes color calibrated?
