Any chance that there will be a wireless shutter release system?

I have bad memories of a model getting tangled up in a shutter release cable in-between shots and taking down the camera and tripod...broken lens and broken body...tripod survived, though.

Might be even cheaper to order direct from DHW Fototechnik and they are taking paypal payments (plus 6% to cover their international fees).  Last price I saw was 170euro and the part number is #58270  Fernbedienung RC100.

I got one from DHW (RC-100). Price was Eur 238 incl. VAT. I always write to Reiner Schoenrock there if I need to order. Regards, Martin

If the back is a Leaf AFi/ AFi-II then you can use almost any electronic cable release with a 2.5mm mono jack
