Bracket Keys, brush size, Macbook Pro

Using a French keyboard, how can one access the bracket keys when in Lightroom on a Macbook Pro in order to change brush sizes. The usual shift-option-( does not work in Lightroom, at least for me. Thanks.

Well the usual American "Keyboard imperialists" at work....  Lots of these symbols (backslash, brackets, tilde, & c) are not main characters on Swedish keyboards either...  Only "solution" I´ve found is to have the US one as an alternative on the menu bar (preference panels/International), and then select it when working in Lightroom or Photoshop (of course forgetting to change back afterwards...).

But, of course, we only pay 50% more than the US price for the same software, so how can we expect full functionality?

Thank you for responding. I had hoped, since Michael Reichmann used the keystroke on the video tutorial, that it would be readily accessible. Apparently, this is not the case for non-U.S. keyboards.

Did you look to see if you can remap what you wish using the International/input or Keyboard control panel? Might work.

I believe that this (remapping) is easy to do if the command is listed in a menu. Unfortunately, I haven't found [ or ] in Lightroom's menus.

In that case, a utility like this will allow you to do just about anything you can imagine:

You're right Andrew, this is the only way unless one uses a US-layout keyboard.
