Hmm, I guess I was not clear enough...
I do use DPP for most of my processing, but the inital thumbnails that pop up in lightroom - when the preferences are set to use the new DNG/ACR camera profiles, which in my case I have set to use 'camera neutral' - are a slightly different color before lightroom has time to fully process the preview.
It's like this - I open a folder of a lot of images (100+)
Lightroom begins making the previews for the standard 'fit screen size'
If I click on an image while in the develop tab, to show the preview at 'fit screen size' before lightroom has a chance to fully process the preview, the color is just a tiny bit different that the processed preview and it only stays that way for a second or two... mainly - the image is devoid completely of the slight reddish cast that is so ever present in the 'camera neutral' profile (which happens to be exactly the same as DPP shows it).
If I drop down the saturation in the red primary, it almost is the same... but not quite.
*shrug* maybe i am just chasing a ghost here... but I am not sure considering the software is using something to show that inital screen preview before applying the profile and it is not the same as DPP shows it, it is not the same as an in camera JPG, and it is not the same as any of the other selectable profiles...
