Beautiful. If you have something on your doorstep to give you shots like this, why photograph bicycles?

because bikes are part of my life! and if everybody was riding bikes, life would be way different...

You bet it would; the world would probably have ended around about the time Henry F got his little act together! Certainly, most of the States would have remained pioneer country, for better or for worse, and I´m sure we would still be fighting the First World War which might indeed have been the way that the world would have ended. But give it time - we´ll get there yet!

On a purely humanitarian kick: how would that have impacted on those too weak to tread the pedals - the aged and infirm such as myself? Guess I know - I´d have died in the back of the pedal rickshaw taking me to hospital...

Agree that you have a striking image here. Reminds me a bit of a Japense print.

Where do the references to bikes come from? I looked at your web site (interesting!) and see nothing there that would lead towards bikes.
