Post Processing/Printing Room Design Suggestions
« on: July 27, 2008, 04:30:03 pm »

I"m looking at building a photography and printing room in my basement with no windows for my printers and a computer.

I"ll be painting the walls neutral grey but was wondering what the best ceiling lighting would be for critical post processing and minimizing eye strain.

Would it be 6500K florescent tubes with no direct light on computer sceen?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'd rather recommend 4700K SoLux light bulbs.

I'd recommend Just Pro Graphic (5000K, ISO 3664:2000)

And yes - it's extremely useful with no direct lighting on the screen.
Maybe you don't have to paint grey the entire room.
A grey shield behind the display and behind that shield the Pro Graphic... that works extremely well!
