Baryta papers with HP 8750

Is there any issue using this printer with baryta papers?

You will have to use the rear paper path as most of the new Baryta or "fiber base" papers are too thick for front feed on the 8750. Also, image longevity will take a big hit compared to, say, Hp premium plus Satin photo paper, because these new papers are microporous, not swellable papers. Other than that, you might get some really great initial image quality.

I've tried the Ilford Gallerie Gold Silk paper on a dye based HP printer, and the results were bad.  Ugly blotchy skies with a heavy colour cast, even when using the photo grey cartridge. The results on the Smooth Pearl paper in comparison, are really nice.

Ilford only recommends their paper be used on pigment based printers.  I can see why!
