Queestion about Tiff 'Byte Order'

Forgive what is probably an ignorant question - but I am in the process of switching from PC to mac [By By Vista!] and I noticed that when saving Tiffs in CS3 there is an option to set the Byte Order from IBM PC to Macintosh.

Question - does this need to be changed or should it be left as is?

At the beginning of the tiff file, there is a flag for the byte order. Software is expected to support either - the only difference could be a slight performance hit, but on todays machines it won't be noticeable at all. BTW, Intel Macs are using PC byte order.
