Phocus 1.0.1 Bugfix available
« on: July 23, 2008, 10:33:58 am »

as of today (wednesday, july 23th.) :

Dear Bernd

We are going to release a Phocus 1.0.1 with bugfixes today or tomorrow.
This release will include the Color Correction tool bug you have found...
We thought it would be important to make this release and not wait longer with bug fixes so therefore contradicting what I told you yesterday... :-)

Best regards,

It is already there. At least on the German website.

I just came back from a job. Will try it out immediately.

Here are details from the associated ReadMe file for Phocus v1.0.1

Phocus 1.0.1 - read me

New features since V 1.0
• A new name preset token Full Raw Name and corresponding factory presets have
been added. This token can be used to preserve the exact original raw file name no matter how the sequence number is formatted. Please note that if you have an
existing Phocus installation the new factory presets will only occur if you delete the
NamePresets,xml file inside <User>/Library/Application Support/Phocus before
launching Phocus 1.0.1. Beware that this will delete any user defined name presets!
• More factory adjustment presets are now included

Fixes since V 1.0
• When using the Color Correction tool artifacts could occur in highlight areas
• The initial installation of ICC profiles performed by Phocus 1.0 triggered an OS error that would make Aperture crash on launch. This version of Phocus uses a workaround to avoid triggering the issue.
• Various sequences of split view changes and window resizes could lead to items like
the RGB read out and the location menu to be offset
• Ixpress tethered captures could lead to a crash
• Import of Ixpress images did lead to a crash if no back was connected. Also with a
back connected the imported images were missing a strip of data
• The Quick Collection item count now correctly reflects the content even if original
files are deleted outside of Phocus
• Using Live Video immediately before a multishot capture would lead to wrong mirror
behavior
• Changing the flash delay in preferences did not have any effect until the next launch
of Phocus
• In certain cases Phocus would launch without full initialization of preset menus.
• The range of the contrast and brightness sliders was incorrectly set to +/- 100 - it
should be +/- 50
• Fxes a problem that could lead to crashes during export
• After launch the Window menu now correctly says Hide Tools, Hide Browser, Hide
Thumbnails and Hide Viewer
• The Google Earth map function now works directly from the viewer
