Two new Innova papers
« on: July 19, 2008, 06:21:29 am »

Two new Innova papers people might be interested in?

I've a short review at Innova Fibaprint Semi-Glazed and Super-Glazed (IFA 58, 59)

Both give very similar performance to the Epson TPP/EFP and IFA49 (USG285) but with a touch warmer white. Tested on a 4880

I had these direct from Innova in the UK so I'm not sure how widespread they are yet?

So much widespread that they aren't yet on Innova's own website!

Many thanks for this review - these papers look tempting.
Do you have a clue on pricing? (read : will it be as expensive as epson's EFP/TPP?)

No idea at all I'm afraid - I phoned them to ask for some data sheets and they realised they'd forgot to add them to the site :-)  The specs in my article are directly taken from the data sheets they sent me.

I find paper reviews quite tricky to do, since many of my paper choices for images are based on how the image 'feels' for me, and I won't go the route of including piles of spurious graphs and charts. Hopefully some of the reflection shots give a bit of an idea of how the papers look

The review does mean that I've got a couple of quite good profiles for the papers on the 4880 should anyone be doing any testing...
