I think James has a point here - it's taken me a while to comfortably do all those things w/ my H3 - by now I look @ canon and forget!

the only thing I envy in Mam system is the cheaper glass - make sure you can afford to get everything you need - it sucks to have all you nee din one system then have to play the rental game all the time w/ a new system...

also - is there a H3 adapter for the RZ? I hadn't heard of that.

The Leaf RZ adapter is for H1/H2 cameras, would not work with the H3, as there is no H3 camera, but instead an H3D digital camera. The same would be true of an H2D, but there was an H2 camera, hence the confusion. And in my testing so far it is impractical to take the digital magazine of the H3D and fit it with this adapter to use on an RZ as the top locking mechanism of the digital magazine is in the way of the locking latch of the RZ adapter. You can remove that locking mechanism, but then there would be no way to remove the digital magazine from the adapter as it would be in the locked position with no way to unlock it.

By the way, Calumet is selling a demo Aptus 22 on ebay right now with no reserve. Could be a good deal. It's a Hassie mount which you can use with the RZ system as well. You get the best of both worlds.

There's a P45+ on Ebay which I am thinking of bidding on, but it's for a Hassy V mount, and I was wondering if it's possible to change the adapter. Perhaps through Phase?
