« on: July 11, 2008, 10:30:30 pm »

hello

I read from this forum, that there are some lenses that are good enough for digital even though they are made for film, the rodenstock 55mm is one of those mentioned, can any one share their experience with this lens ? or any other ones ?

Rueyloon,

You might take a look at the Schneider ALPA Apo-Helvetar 5.6/48 mm on Alpa's site.  Also the Schneider ALPA Apo-Switar 5.6/36 mm

The former is described by alpa as the "photographic Swiss knife" optimized for film and digital.

I would like to know more about the differences between these lenses and the straight digital versions though.
