A local school has asked me to calibrate their new HP W2408 monitors. They want to use them to teach basic image editing with an eye towards print media.
Has anybody been able to get a decent calibration with those monitors down to say the 140 cd/m2 range? Those are very bright monitors with about a bazillion:1 contrast ratio. Would appreciate any input.
Maybe next time they'll ask me BEFORE they buy the monitors! The highly qualified kid-in-blue at Best Buy swore up and down these were "top of the line monitors used by just about every Photoshop professional there was!" Right.
