identifying print paper type
« on: June 29, 2008, 06:07:25 am »

guys,

I got a roll of paper which I cannot identify. It was given to me (a give horse, you know the drill...). The paper looks very much like the paper in those books about wildlife photographer of the year. So it appears to be fairly high quality. What kind of paper could that be? I tried printing it with "proof paper" as setting in the epson driver menu, but I'm not sure if that is optimal... So if someone could tell me what type of paper that paper in one of those wildlife photographer of the year books is, then maybe I can select better what to choose

It is easily identified by packaging, texture, inner core, etc.  Give me a call and I can probably find out what it is.
