IJ Technologies anyone ?
« on: June 26, 2008, 09:32:38 am »

With any printer but especially with an HP Z3100 printer or similar.  I am looking into using their canvas but I would like some feedback from current users.

Thank you!  Regards, Iam Nemo

Try BF Inkjet.  Their 12.2 Ultra D Max canvas is the best I have ever seen.  It sets the new bar for canvases.

Another vote for the BF 12.2 UDM canvas.  Beautiful matte surface and also excellent for printing B&W.

I've had good results with the IJT water-resistant canvas and the Z3100 printer. Good color gamut and good adhesion of the ink to the coating.

The BF Canvas is not just a good canvas but they are the ones who pioneered making canvas inkjet printable.  The UDM canvas just received a DIMA award for it.

The BF Inkjet Premium Matte Canvas PC12.2 UDM sounds very interesting.  What coatings will work well with it?

I'm assuming its compatible with my HP Z3100.  Any ideas what presets I would use?

Clear Star Coatings, Premier Art, Hahnemuhle Protective Spray, Lumijet.

These are everything I have used with it.  I recommend the Clear Star.

Thanks, Kory.  I really appreciate the info.  I should be ordering some of the canvas soon and probably some Clear Star as well.
