I have used the Linhof, Arca and rent the Alpa's.
I am a huge fan of the Arca monolith and own it, works well with the 24. But the lack of ability for much movement, makes it to big to use with the 24.
The SWA from Alpa is great with the ground glass and I do focus with it. Bag the tripod, lock it all down and then mount the back.
Some sort of sliding adapter for the Alpa's would be cool.
