Flash units, adapters for Mamiya 645
« on: June 03, 2008, 02:12:35 pm »

Is there any way to adapt Nikon SB-800 or any other Nikon flashes to Mamiya 645 systems (ZD included) using "A" automatic metering?

My ZD camera can trigger SB-800 directly sitting on top, but I have to set flash output manually.

I use an SB28 in Auto mode.  Set the flash for iso and f stop and you are set.  I also use the SB28 on a Holga, Canon 5D, RZ, FM2, EOS 3 and anything with a hot shoe.  The old Vivitars work great in auto mode as well.
