Spot Healing Brush Tool
« on: May 30, 2008, 03:29:49 am »

In ACR4 I regularly use the retouch tool to remove spots from a single image.

I then apply these changes to a collection of images shot at the same time.

This is indispensible when shooting against a coved background in a studio where any sensor dust/spots is immediately visible.

Is it possible to do something similar with the Spot Healing Brush Tool in CS3?

Would I have to write an action to do it?

I'd like the option because it would allow me to process TIFFs in software other than ACR4.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.

So, just to be absolutely clear about this.........the *only* way to apply a set of spot/dust removals on one image to an entire folder of images is via the retouch tool in ACR4. Right? Even if I was willing to use something other than the Spot Healing Brush Tool - e.g. the Clone Stamp tool?

Sorry for labouring the point, but the ability to process in software other than ACR would be attractive occasionally.

Thanks again.
