I hope he doesn't grow up thinking that's the proper way to set up a tripod!

100%  right.

Do you notes the little car in top of the lens?

The car is a very advanced technique to counterweight and reduce shutter vibration.

Good show !!  I was puzzled at what that Xtra gizmo was at the top.. ROFL lol   !!   ON THE LENS.!! outstanding photograph

I could care less how the tripod is set.. the only thing important is that final IMAGE.

That second image .. whew.. I would have created one more image. Standing on the other side of that gate.

The image is spectacular.. I would seriously consider purchasing a very large copy of that. I am serious. but the gate says .. .. Keep Out !!

I much rather see it without the gate so my eyes can take a long lonely walk down that road !!

If that is available I am serious  I want 24  x 36 if you can arrange that I will gladly pay for it !!

Even though I am at the TOP OF THE WORLD - Barrow Alaska. I had to crack up and fall over when I saw your location !!!

DW fields park Me and Karen Labatte  1966 !!  No kidding  Brockton !! (chuckle) !!

memories memories memories !!!
