Doubl-sided (semi)gloss paper (minimum A3 +) Z3100
« on: May 20, 2008, 04:31:33 am »

Hello,

I occasionally have to print double-sided greeting cards for my clients. I usually lay them out on an A3+ size and then cut them afterwards.

Up to now, I have used Haehnemuehle Photo Rag Duo, which prints great but
1) it's a matte paper, and most of my clients prefer semi-gloss (at least for the cards)
2) it's kinda expensive to use as a greeting card paper

I'm looking for a decent, thick enough (around 200 gsm or more) double sided, preferably semi-glossy (or else glossy) paper.

The quality should be good, but not at all (price) cost. After all, it's a card, not a 20 x 30 inch museum print I'll be making out of it.

I would need it to be at least A3+ size (with A3 size I loose too much paper to be economical).

Can anyone make suggestions ?

Thanks a lot.

[a href=\"http://www.tecco-print.de/index.php?id=53]Tecco PDG250 duo-gloss[/url] - it's a glossy RC paper. Didn't try it yet but I will soon...
I don't know how well it's distributed outside of our good ol'Europe, though.

Piet:

Try this from Red River Paper.  I have had good luck with them on my Z3100:
