Justin,

you may want to change the colour of the text used for your footer menu as the yellow is too light on top of the bright background.

John

I usually hide it well away at the bottom of the page so folk don't get to see it anyway, but as this is a short page you are probably right.

Thanks

I have to be honest with you and say that I don't find this portrait particularly attractive. The lighting is flat. The eyes look underexposed and lack good catch lights. She's got kind of a weird smirk on her face, and it looks like she's being squeezed too tightly by that thing she's wearing.

Well it's good to hear that there are those for whom it doesn't work.

For myself I don't like big shiny catchlights anyway, they can too easily detract from the overall image and are a bit of a cliché. I think the faintest hint of under exposure works well here, she is a warm hearted and intelligent lady rather than a glam model, so overall I think she is captured well.

Well, as long as you're happy, that's OK.

It appears you're happy with it (which is good ), but I personally would boost exposure very slightly, and also reduce the green saturation - the trees take away too much attention off the lady IMO.
