setting up HP B9180 Printer for non-HP paper
« on: May 08, 2008, 03:12:38 pm »

I have a HP B9180 Photo Printer w/intel IMac, photoshop CS3.

Are there any specs for setting up the printer for non HP papers like Hahnemuhele and Epson glossy.

thank you

Usually the paper manufacturers give you some information.  Obviously Epson will not help you use their paper with an HP.

Try the Yahoo! group.

I have page with my experience (on windows) with the B9180 [a href=\"http://www.ronnynilsen.com/Essays/Articles/HP_B9180/]here[/url].

I have put up my ICC profiles there as well, and I have tried a couple of
Epson papers that work OK in HP.

Yes users sharing is just what is needed, so thanks Ronny.
There is also this site I like as so many tests performed give you a good idea of what works and what doesn't,
