Who wants my ColorMunki
« on: April 29, 2008, 02:52:38 pm »

... all - really ALL - of my custom made paper profiles with EyeOne Pro are gone after the installation of the ColorMunki. I have to drive to my secret place where I have a backup of my system. Are these guys mad, shipping such a thing? They can stick the remains of my Munki somewhere.

Best,
Johannes

Just reinstalled Photoshop, everything seems fine now.

The ColorMunki should be called ColorGremlin.

But will it blend - thats the question. I guess it will, best together with 6 Bic Lighters.

See you on Youtube.

Best,
Johannes

Yes, I experienced all that and more.  The software is just poorly thought-out.  Making changes to the profiles, adding crap to Photoshop's (and InDesign too) color directory and then re routing color management - is just plain wrong.
The hardware seemed good, so just return it and get your hard earned money back on a product that should not have been released -yet.
Of course, if you really ran your car over it, then well...
