As I embark on finally replacing the Epson 4000 (which actually left my possession over 1 year ago), I am contemplating upgrading ImagePrint to v7. I have noticed over the past several months a few disturbing trends. Firstly, there is a lack of posts on any forum regarding IP and other RIPs for that matter. Secondly, Colorbyte has been somewhat glacial in their support for the newer pro printers from Canon and HP. It seems that the canned profiles from printer and paper manufacturers may be "good enough" to deter sales of IP or custom profiles make more sense, whether purchased or made by the end user.
Is it just me or is the silence deafening?
