Hasselblad - H3D2 39Mp MS - It's here!
« on: April 18, 2008, 07:41:35 am »

For the record, since I know a few of you are also waiting, I picked up my H3D2 39Mp Multi-Shot less than an hour ago.

And, it is a thing of beauty!

Needless to say, Hasselblad didn't complete the order, so my 50-110mm lens is missing as are a few other bits and pieces.

But, at least they've started shipping.

Hooray,

We need to see "unboxing" photos, please

Is the 39ms deeper front to back to accomodate the ms capability?

Hi Billy,

Yes, it's considerably deeper, relative to the size of the back.

Also, the screen is a massive improvement.

Haven't had a chance to play with it yet as I'm away on a prrior commitment.

Does the back have live preview?

I assume it COULD be mounted, with adapter, on Alpa as well??

If not now, does HB plan for live preview?

What I like especially about the H3DII-39ms is that Hasselblad chose :
• to use the same "packaging" as their H3DII-31 and H3DII-39 with same large LCD
• to keep the same frames per minute rate as their one-shot H3DII-39
So, even though it's multi-shot capable, it hasn't been "limited" when needed for single-shot "action" mode.

I love the large LCD on my H3DII39, you are spot on.

Actually... it would be nice to see a comparison of the same scene photographed with the 1 shot,
and then taken with the multishot... obviously zoomed in at 100% so that we can pixelpeep!

Something like Jeans, that is always a huge difference (1 or 4 shot). 100% crops would be nice. Something to drool over

Couldn't find the H3DII-39ms on Hasselblad's site.

Just wondering if a 50mpx multi-shot is imminent?

The H3DII39MS and CFII39MS offer Live Video and with the proper H mount adapter will mount to your Alpa.
