Image processor & action limitations

Is anyone aware whether there are some sort of limitations in the length of actions that can be invoked with the image processor from the Bridge?
I have an action that has about 25steps which causes problems when I run it via the image processor (not via PS). It does work and saves out the processed file ok but it doesn't close the files anymore afterwards eventually clogging the machine.
If I cut the action into 2 halves and process them right after each other there is no problem whatsoever.

Allright, I found the answer to my own question it seems. It appears you have to make sure max amount in the history state (which can be found in PS preferences) is higher than the amount of steps you have in your actions.
