I hate when that happens.
I received some paper from Inkjetart, which had huge labels on the outside -- do not open if it shows damage, etc., etc. The package looked like it had spent several months in a war zone, but it didn't show any smashed corners, so I opened it. Then I opened one of the paper boxes, and discovered a crunched corner -- upon closer inspection, the outside of that box showed a very slight crunch.
The customer service rep was very helpful, offered to send a replacement immediately. When the replacement arrived, one corner of the shipping container was totally crushed. Amazingly enough, the paper inside the box was fine.
Not sure how to handle it in the future. There is no place within 200 miles where I can buy paper.
