Lightroom 2.0 has a second monitor option, so I'm thinking of getting one. What the specs to look for?

Nice, but nothing spectacular. I'd rather take Eizo S2031W - it has matte screen and internal 10 bit LUT

Apple's monitors are essentially junk. Long ago they used trinitron tubes, but their LCDs are all cheap junk.

There are a few CRT makers still out there, though, and if you can find a good model and get it calibrated, it'll do a fantastic job.(not a fan of LCDs myself)
