Profiles that begin with MP mean for Matte Paper
begins with PR means for Photo paper Pro
begins with SP means for Photo Paper Plus Glossy (which is their most widely distributed paper type)
The following number indicates how much ink is applied.. Lower # means less ink, higher # means more ink. So a profile named Canon MP150 SP3 means the profile is for photo paper plus glossy and that it uses a middle of the range amount of ink.
Whew......
