Press printed Photo Book Suggestions
« on: March 19, 2008, 05:42:16 pm »

Hi all:
I am attending a dear friend's daughter's wedding in early April. I am not the hired pro photographer. I plan on bringing my camera, keeping out of the pro's way, and shooting available light candids, concentrating on the family. I want to give the bride and her folks a press printed bound book. I have done this before, but was not happy with whomever I used at the time, as the templates were all "fixed" in size and cropping. I'm looking to drag & drop, crop, and resize using the vendor's software. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

This has been discussed here on LL recently, so I would suggest a search of the site. There are a number of options available. One of which is Blurb. I have yet to use them, but have read good things about them.

I've done lots of http://blurb.com books - they're good but not great.  The http://mpix.com book I just got was something a bit nicer - mostly the cover is nicer and they have different paper options, such as pearl.
