Hasselblad lenses on 645 AFD Mamiya camera
« on: March 18, 2008, 01:49:51 pm »

Hello,
I was most intrigued to just discover a $80 adapter made in China which mounts Hasselblad lenses on 645 AFD Mamiya camera's {actually all 645 Mamiya models} and was advised they have been selling quite well in the US for 3 years now.
If anyone has any experience with these $80 adapters I am most interested in hearing any results or feelings  you may have about them. How do you think they hold up with their 1 year warranty and compare to the same adapter a leading digital back manufacturer is selling for $640 ?
Thank you for any advice you may have.

I would probably go with a pro-series Fotodiox adapter (www.fotodiox.com), they seem to have a good reputation.

i've used 2 so far, and both won't focus at infinity. i have the official mamiya adapter, and it works great (however. .much more expensive than the chinese or russian ones)

that's not to say that some of the chinese/russian adapters won't work.. i'm just a sample size of 2.

Someone else was selling one on this forum, but i'm not sure yet if it focuses at infinity
