While we are discussing availability of access to Yosemite I got to thinking about Yellowstone and whether it is readily accessible in mid April or May..ie.: whether I should wait until May to head out there.

Any comments? Thanks.

Dad just got back from there and it's a good snow year. April probably won't be a spring month (flowers-leaves) this year. Just a thought

I was there three weeks ago and they have had a lot of snow in the West.  When I was in Jackson, they had had 7 feet in two weeks.  In Yellowstone, there was so much snow, we were sharing the roads with the Bison herds.
