Pin Wheel Marks
« on: March 05, 2008, 08:28:12 pm »

Hello

I am testing the Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper ( Traditional Photo Paper in Australia) on my Epson 4000 printer. It is now profiled beautifully.

The paper is very nice with beautiful shadow detail. The only problem is I am getting the pizza pin wheel marks.

Does anyone have a solution to get rid of these? Possible adjustments in paper config. such as "drying time per head pass" "Paper feed adjustment" "paper thickness" ? Anything else?

Also is there any way to avoid the situation where the printer stops and "rests" during the process of printing a page. If you are printing a dark or black background image this stop will leave a mark on the black background.

Thank you for any suggestions
