4800 paper thickness
« on: March 05, 2008, 04:48:14 pm »

Hello,
I have noticed that with thicker papers like Illuminata and even Epson USFAP, the print head will graze the paper sometimes just near the beginning of the print halfway across the width and then another area 3-4 inches into the print in the last third of head travel. Have just come across the paper config settings for the first time. Does anyone have any recommendations for this utility and c. 300gsm paper?
Thanks,
Bill

The manual provides instructions for adjusting the platen gap when using various thicker papers. If you don't have one, I believe you can still download it from the Epson website.
