Easy Printer or Printer Utility?
« on: March 05, 2008, 03:30:28 pm »

When I upgraded my drivers and software for the HPZ3100ps, it was indicated that I should no longer use Easy Printer Care, and to use HP Printer Utility on my Windows XP PC.

Today, the HP Upgrader found a new version of Easy Printer Care and installed it on my system.  I got a message saying that HP Printer Utility would continue to monitor my printer and send messages to me, and to disable the message-sending in Easy Printer Care.

I'm confused.  I use APS to profile my paper and monitor, and enter new or custom papers in HP Printer Utility.  Do I need or want Easy Printer Care on my system?  What is it supposed to do that HP Printer Utility doesn't?
