Now What?
« on: March 02, 2008, 07:18:16 pm »

Now what do I do with my existing paper stocks? The new Ilford Baryta paper is truly a wonder to print on. I feel like I have discovered the best of all worlds in terms of texture, brightness and sheen. Not sure what the silk part is all about though...

I have also switched to this paper from Crane Museo Silver Rag.  I love it, but the downside is the delicateness of it.  Finger prints really show up on it, which is why I reckon it comes with gloves.  The crane paper is way more robust and durable, unfortunately it has a sort of 'waxy' texture.  Too bad I can't find 44" rolls of the Ilford at the moment only 24" - so I am still printing my large stuff on the crane.
