The "Phatte Black" as it is known, is run through the ImagePrint RIP software. It isn't a special ink, but rather a way to load both the PK and MK inksets into your 4800, while eliminating the LLK ink cartridge. It requires a cartridge with the MK ink with the chip for the LLK ink. The software is needed to make this work.

thanks I know this ,but before I buy Imag Print rip ! want to make sure of a UK supplier of Phatte Black cartridges for my 4800 epson printer- I am fed up with changing the blacks over every time a change paper!
