Stocking my Z3100
« on: March 01, 2008, 10:09:16 am »

For convenience reason before fitting out my studio, I have to stock my Z3100 vertically on its foam support, for a few days.
Could this cause any problem — needless to say I already removed printheads and cartridges.

Did you purge the ink lines? Read page 101 of the manual:
"If you turn the printer upside down, ink could escape into the printer and cause serious damage."

Oups : I don't have such warning on the "Maintenance and stockage of the printer" pages of my manual. Only said that I should leave the cartridges on (but my stockist removed it before delivery).
Anyway, to be on the safe side, I'll leave it flat horizontal… (it just has been put vertically a few minutes to cross some doors).
Thanks for your advice.
