Landscape photos in Romania?

I am planning a trip to Romania in April.  I'm not too interested in taking pictures of old buildings and such, but I would like to get some nice landscape photos. So which parts of the country are especially beautiful? I am thinking Transylvania? Also hoping to get some good portraits of people.
