The Plaubel PL69D camera looks interesting. Anyone use it with a digital back? It says you can use lenses as wide as 24mm. Do you have a full range of movements with the 35mm Rodenstock Digital lens?
thanks

Jordan:
I just this week installed a Plauble View Camera with a Leaf Aptus 65 and Schneider 35mm and 47mm lenses. We had sold this camera several years back - mostly with the Eyelike digital backs, who had a USA distribution arrangement with Plaubel. That fell through at some point, but now DSM (who also distribute Rollei & Horseman) have picked the line back up.
Ya know, I think it strikes a nice balance between mini view camera and structural robustness. All movements are geared, it employs zero detents, and locks for all movements except shifts (I think). The standards collapse all the way, so attaining infinity focus with the 35mm is not a problem. In fact, I'm told it was designed to work even with the 24mm without any special customized recessed board.
Best of all, it's reasonably priced (around $4,700).
